Health check up

The weight of age is taking its toll, and we are looking for ways to organize some things in life. Right now, I am trying to take better care of my health, after all, in two years I will be turning 40.

In the last few days, I went to the cardiologist to check on my heart, and I will also be doing a complete blood test and another test called stress test.

The doctor scolded me because I am 175 cm tall and weigh 213 lb...the goal is to weigh 198 lb by December.

I am reaching the halfway point of my life, considering that the life expectancy of Brazilian men, according to a 2023 IBGE survey, is 73 years (and rising).

I want to live well, be healthy, be professionally active, and enjoy the best that life has to offer. The preparation starts now.

I've been walking and jogging with my wife with the goal of getting out of my sedentary lifestyle and losing weight. We have the option of exercising at our condo's gym, but we prefer to walk outdoors in the neighborhood.

These walks have become a special time for us as a couple. We talk about lots of things while we walk and run. It's been great.

Ultimately, taking care of your health isn't just about weight or medical tests, but about choosing to live better every day. And if that comes with good laughs and conversations with the people we love, even better.
